Privacy policy
Updated: 18 October 2026. This policy describes Car Radio Classic (Android package com.threedmagic.carradio), its radio service, Google sign-in, trial and paid access, and associated support.
Who is responsible?

Information we process
- Account: when you choose Google sign-in, we receive your verified email address, display name and Google account identifier, and maintain an app account and authenticated sessions. TV pairing associates another device with that account. We do not receive your Google password.
- Devices and access: device or installation identifiers, device name/model, app version, trial timestamps, device activations, and verification/security information support the trial, purchase restoration, device slots and fraud prevention. Server device identifiers are stored in hashed form where implemented; hashed identifiers remain data subject to this policy.
- Purchases: product and subscription identifiers, purchase tokens and transaction references, purchase/expiry dates, acknowledgement and entitlement status are used to verify purchases with Google Play, restore access and deliver device slots. Google Play handles payment details; the app does not receive your payment-card number.
- App activity: selected/favourite countries and stations, listening/interaction signals, and voluntary station requests and stream reports support playback, preferences, catalogue quality and troubleshooting. These records can be associated with a device identifier.
- Diagnostics and analytics: Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, In-App Messaging and their dependencies may process app-instance/installation identifiers, advertising identifiers where available and permitted, screen/session and purchase events, message interactions, crash reports, stack traces, device/app metadata and performance information. Approximate location may be derived from the network IP address. We do not request GPS location, contacts, microphone recordings or access to your emails.
- Network and support: our infrastructure receives IP addresses and technical request information for delivery and security. Where geography checks are available, IP-derived country supports station availability notices; it does not determine your precise location. Support correspondence contains the information you choose to send.
How information is used and transferred
We use information to provide the radio service, manage accounts and preferences, verify purchases, enforce trial/device access, prevent abuse, diagnose failures and understand app performance and use. Service providers process data on our behalf, including our hosting provider and Google/Firebase. Google sign-in, Play Billing and Play Integrity also operate under Google's applicable terms. We do not sell your personal information.
Starting a station connects your device to that broadcaster or its streaming provider, which receives network information such as your IP address. If you configure your own audio proxy, that provider also handles the proxied connection. Broadcasters and proxy providers have their own privacy practices. Some third-party streams or legacy connections use HTTP; we therefore do not claim that every connection made by every supported app release is encrypted. Current account and purchase-verification requests use HTTPS, and Firebase uses encrypted transport.
Retention and your choices
Account and preference information is kept while needed to provide the service or until an applicable deletion request is processed. Purchase entitlement and anti-abuse records may be needed after sign-out or reinstall for restoration and fraud prevention. Technical records and Google/Firebase data have service-specific retention, and backup copies may remain until their normal replacement. Contact support for the records associated with you and any applicable retention requirements; we do not promise instant deletion of every backup or independent Google Play record.
You can use the trial without Google sign-in. Signing in, buying a product, submitting a request/report, and providing support details are choices; some functionality requires the corresponding information. Device verification and built-in diagnostics/analytics may run automatically. Uninstalling the app stops future app activity but does not by itself delete server-side account data or cancel subscriptions.
Delete your account or data
Visit Delete your Car Radio Classic account and associated data or email support@carradio.eu. You can request account deletion or deletion of particular associated data without reinstalling the app. We verify ownership and explain any transaction, security or legally required records that must be retained. Account deletion does not cancel a Play subscription or delete your Google account.

Service providers may process information in countries different from yours. You can contact us to request access, correction or deletion and to exercise applicable privacy rights. This policy may be updated when the app's data practices change.
